Harrison Land Scholarship

Honoring Harrison Land

A Legacy of Leadership, Love, and Water Polo

Harrison Land was more than an athlete, he was a mentor, a teammate, a coach, and a friend whose influence extended far beyond the pool deck. A proud member of the Renegades Water Polo Club, Redlands East Valley High School, and UC Irvine, Harrison exemplified what it means to lead with heart, humility, and an unwavering love for the game.

After his time as a player, Harrison gave back to the water polo community through coaching roles at Newport Water Polo Club, Sand Canyon Water Polo Club, and the University of Redlands. Everywhere he went, he inspired younger athletes with his calm leadership, infectious passion, and deep belief in the power of sport to change lives.

In 2024, Harrison faced his toughest battle a cancer diagnosis. Over eight courageous months, he fought with grace and strength, buoyed by the love of his family, friends, and teammates. In February 2025, Harrison passed away, shortly after marrying his beloved Lindsey. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the values he instilled.

The Harrison Land Scholarship Fund

To honor Harrison’s memory and continue his mission of growing the sport he loved, the Renegades Water Polo Club has established the Harrison Land Scholarship Fund. This fund will provide financial assistance to young athletes who share Harrison’s passion for water polo but may need support to participate.

Every dollar raised, through donations, merchandise sales, and events—goes directly toward offsetting costs like tournament fees, gear, and travel for deserving athletes in our club.

We are incredibly grateful for your support in continuing Harrison’s legacy. His love for water polo—and the community that surrounds it, will never be forgotten.
